Installation

BRITE's software stack centers around PHP, which enables it to run on various Web platforms and servers. Also included in the stack are JavaScript (jQuery framework) and Oracle database connection extensions. A recommended, and easy integration solution into your IT environment for BRITE is ZEND Server, which can be installed to just about any existing server and used to run and administer BRITE. ZEND Server is free and is only one option for installing BRITE, as BRITE will run on any Web Server with PHP installed (v 7.2 as of March 2020) and Oracle's OCI Instant Client. BRITE will assist in server installation and configuration.
